The way to solve the Ukrainian civil war 

 

Two months left until Ukraine government forces and Russophile militia conclude a ceasefire agreement after the lasting civil war. The leaders in Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine are hoping the ceasefire will be alleviated soon. Ceasefire in the war means that the war is not yet to be ended, just paused for a while. So, what should they do to make Ukraine enter into a peace agreement? In this case, Ukrainian civil war was started by the local sentiments. Ukraine has been through a lot of hardships historically by around the close countries. So, it has caused the Ukrainian local sentiments between the East and the West to last for a long time politically, economically and socially.

Now In Sloviansk, State of Donetsk, the eastern Ukraine, there are so many casualties due to the civil war between the government troops and the militia. How can we observe this Ukrainian situation? Also, what kind of lesson can we learn from that? What can we do to solve this problem? I think we need love beyond the border, race and religion and practice of peace by Man Hee Lee, Chairman of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light. Over the past centuries, we know that many wars had been taking place here and there in the world due to ideological, racial and religious conflicts. Now is the time that we really need peace. So, I would like to introduce an article that can be an indicator for practicing peace. The life that grows on the earth is sustained from above – by light, by the rain, and by the air they provide unconditionally to all living beings.
We have received the precious gift of life from above, let us give glory to heaven, and live in peace on earth.
This is the truest teaching of heaven.
With this eternal gift - the grace and life we have received – are we entitled to fight, kill and destroy one another?

 

We cannot claim to desire peace and continue to provoke one another, causing conflict for the sake of valuing our own national interests above those of others. Of what use is a young life, born in our day and age, if it is thrown away in this manner – thrown away without having had a chance to bloom?What price can compensate for the loss of a life? Do these young souls have another chance at life?As emissaries of World Peace; as people who are working towards the restoration of humanity through a new and heavenly culture, we declare the following:
We call on the heads of state of every country to sign an international agreement – a commitment to bringing all wars to an end. We ask them to do this from a spirit of deep-seated love for the people of their country.

We call on all youth to unite in an effort to stop wars and pursue the restoration of peace by registering to the one and only existing “International Youth Coalition”. For World Peace to become a reality, this is the duty of all youth, everywhere.

The only way to stop the fighting and pointless, tragic deaths, is to stop fighting. Nobody can ask for anything greater than this. The efforts of the young people of the world today in pursuit of peace – will remain as a never fading light of life for all future generations.

Furthermore, we call on every person, every man, woman, and child in the world, to pick up the mantle of peace. In whatever way you can, we ask that you work to further the cause of world peace and restoration, making it a reality in your direct environments. Lastly, we call on the media to port responsibly and promote a message of peace to the world. World peace and restoration of light have been started simultaneously with declaring this declaration.

News of Peace Comes to Mexico

The news of peace have been spread out titled deceasing wars and world peace restoration of light throughout the five seas and the six continents. Meeting lots of people, the news came to Veracruz, Mexico with hope. The peace advocate Man Hee Lee was awarded a note of appreciation by its mayor. More than 15 media had took part in and reported this event to Mexico and to the world reporting 30 different media.

Veracruz is a city had many historical events in Mexico. It was a first land in Mexico where the conqueror Hernan Corteś stepped on in 1519 to conquer the continent of South America. As you know, there was a plantation system in the Age of Exploration. Those European countries such as Spain, Portugal and England got tons of people from Africa by trading or kidnaping them. They took Africans and shipped to Americas. They got the Africans work in farms to sell the products such as sugar, sugar cane, or some alcohol made from that plants to Europa, and made so much fortune by trading them.

This is called 'triangular trade', and it could be possible because of the African who had worked in the farms suffering without their intention. And, while they were staying America, the mixed blood came out. This caused problems of mixed blood with lots of crimes and discrimination.

Mexico has been also suffering with the corruptions, crimes and discrimination. It can be seen as a peaceful place for resting and sightseeing. However, it has tragic history and there are still so many social problems and desperate situations.

In that time, Mr. Man Hee Lee's 10th trip must have shown them light. Before, he visited Tijuana City in Mexico during 7th trip. And this time, he visited Veracruz and had peace conference and peace walk lately.

Mr. Man Hee Lee mentioned that he believed there must be peace soon in this land, Mexico as the meaning of its name, peace and blessing. Also he said all of us, the leaders and citizens of each country, need to work together and do their best in the positions where they belong in order to achieve peace.

And he said that, "I feel so desperate whenever I think of the victims of Sewol ferry. The peaceful world is having no corruptions by enrooting only justice. That is true peace with calm and harmony. To make it, the message of peace has to be delivered, so that people should live with peace and blessing in their mind. He empathized it.

This speech inspired leaders and citizens of Mexico. I hope the news from Mr. Man Hee Lee can be a touching motivation for peace.

     "Peace" is a word that makes our hearts warm. That is why I like the word "peace", and I am reading a lot of books about that topic. But peace is such an abstract concept that we often don't know how to achieve it, although we hope there will be peace in this world.

Recently, I learned from an internet news that there is someone who has a secret material to achieve peace in this world. The article was about the president of Heavenly Culture, world Peace, Restoration of Light, Mr. Man-hee Lee, who enthusiastically travels around the world to bring peace to this world.

     He put an end to the religious war in Mindanao, Philippines between Islam and Catholic that they had killed each other for 40 years. Being just a representative of an organization, he persuaded them to sign for the peace agreement between them. Moreover, the government of Guatemala gave him a note of appreciation and an opportunity to put a rose on the sculpture of Palm of Peace.

     It was kind of surprising because he was just a man who is in charge of a group and he doesn’t look so young. It could not be easy to travel in his age. He looked like he has to do this task and have so much confident about this.

Before I could express my feeling of wonder, I got heard another news regarding him which is visiting Veracruz in Mexico. He awarded the note of appreciation and a medal from the government of Veracruz.

     Mexico is located next to the United States and well known for its beautiful landscapes and rich culture. That’s why I thought it could be a wonderful place to live. However, it was not as safe as I thought. There are problems of public security, drugs, traffic jam, and even the earthquakes. Looks like it’s too much far from peace.

     Even though Mexico may seem a place where peace is nowhere to be found, however, peace is starting to become a reality in small corners. The Peace Seminar and Ceremony of Peace Agreement held in Mexico, and the note of appreciation given to Mr. Man Hee Lee are the proof.

     On 20th of last month, at 3 p.m. Mr. Man Hee Lee, the president of Heavenly Culture and World Peace and Restoration of Light, was given a note of appreciation and a medal by Mayor of Veracruz. Many politicians, high ranking officials, and religious leaders attended the awarding ceremony and gave Mr. Lee an enormous applauds.

     As he was awarding Mr. Lee, the mayor of Veracruz thanked Mr. Lee for his efforts said that they saw a light of hope for peace. Religious leaders also said that his message of peace gave great hope to Veracruz and Mexico suffering from prevalence of crime. What they felt when they listened to Mr. Lee's message of peace must be same as my aspiration for hope.

     The news of peace must have been like the soft rain and wind in a hot summer as they have been thirsty for peace. It is said that Mr. Lee decided to visit Mexico after he met a Mexican Pastor in Uruguay this March. The Peace Walk held in Tijuana, Mexico by Mr. Lee and Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light is the reason he decided to do so. The Peace Walk was a big event that brought a lot of youths and citizens together, so Mexican people would have wanted to feel that joy again.

     Of course, Mr. Lee's message of peace wouldn't have touched the hearts of the world from the beginning. But he persistently kept on with his efforts for peace so the world started to remember and cheer for him. Now, as his message rekindles people's desire for hope, it is creating a boom all around the world. Just like Mr. Lee's words that this kind of work of peace cannot be done by men, it seems like the God in heaven is with him to achieve world peace.

     Many leaders in the world work hard for world peace but there are still more wars than peace. For myself, Mr. Lee showed that there is hope of accomplishing peace on this world and he is the first one to do so. I anticipate eagerly to see his next move for peace, and to hear what inspiring message he will give.

Are you aware of the meaning of the national flag of Mexico? There is the birth myth of the nation hidden in its flag which is important but the three colors in the flag – green, white, and red are telling you its history well. So you can understand Mexican history if you understand the flag thoroughly.

Each color has its own meanings. Green refers to independence and hope, white refers to purity and unification of religion, and red means the sacrifice for independence and integration among different races who are the White, Indio and mestizo. These words, unity, independence, unification and sacrifice, are familiar to me as a Korean since Korea has gone through the time of colony like Mexico. Sadly, Mexican were ruled for about 5 times longer than my country. I could imagine how much they long for peace.

The port city, Veracruz, has close connection with the Mexican history. The name of this city which is one of the biggest port cities in Mexico is familiar for me since there is a car called Veracruz made in a Korean company. That car is named after this city. But the original meaning of it is “the true cross” in Spanish anyway. And historically, it was the first place for Spanish ship to land Mexico to conquer it. So Veracruz holds the sad histories of this country.

Although it has tragic history, the sceneries in the city look so amazing. There are lots of sea sides including Villa del Mar and Fort San Juan de Ulua.

The carrier of the news was Mr. Man-Hee Lee, president of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light.

April 20th 2014, at 3 p.m in a palace in Veracruz, Mexico, the mayor of Veracruz, Mexican politicians and religious leaders had gathered and gave award to Mr. Man Hee Lee regarding his effort for peace. More than 15 major press were there to interview him. Mr. Lee said, "I strongly believe that peace and blessing will be around us in this world soon. He also said that to accomplish world peace, the leaders and people of all nations must work together in their positions, with humble and honest minds. His message of peace touched the people of Veracuz and Mexico, like tender rain.

He also emphasized that we should be able to have peace in our hearts so that there are no longer pain and suffering. He always looks confident whenever he mentions about peace. It looks like it must happen soon. The Mexicans would have thought of their painful history as they listened to the message. They also said they believe this message will deliver to Koreans as well.

Being traveling so much, he is delivering the message of peace throughout every corner around the world, and It's not easy to anticipate Mr. Lee's next stop. I am excited to hear where he will deliver another news of peace to the world the next time.
