The ventilation grates collapsed during an outdoor pop concert and 16 people died in Pangyo last Friday. Therefore, concern is rising over the safety of ventilation grates above subway stations in Seoul and other metropolitan cities. Most of these grates are installed beside on sidewalks in cities. The ventilation grates are designed for pedestrian to use and one square meter of grate is designed to endure at least 500 kilograms according to the Seoul Metropolitan Government statement. The government says that they are 'deemed safety' to walk on.

 

This incident is a wake-up call for our insensibility of safety. Sometimes we are unaware of very important things in our life such as safety and peace. Our nation is divided into two nations and under armistice. The North Korea provoked South Korea once in a while, but it happened for 60 years after a cease-fire agreement made. Koreans, especially young people do not take it seriously because it happened repeatedly for 60 years. Our people became insensible to war and peace just like the insensibility of safety in case of Pangyo ventilation grates accident.

 

Korean advocator of world peace, Mr, Man Hee Lee, actively has worked for world peace and his works were known to many leaders from all over the world, and they have taken part in making world peace reality, too.  Even though he started the work to achieve world peace in a small country, Korea, it will be a great achievement in this earth. I hope that his efforts will bear fruits and world peace will be come true including peace in the earth.

April 16.2014,Lee man hee representative ,the world peace activist,had signed the peace agreement with ex and incumbent president in Eastern Europe ,Central and South America.

Lee man hee representative and  peace emvoys have made a tour of various 16 countries - Eastern Europe and Central and South America -since march ,2014. including the Prime Minister of East Germany Hans Modrow He signed the peace agreement with Ex and incumbent 12presidents in Eastern Europe ,Central and South America . Also he signed the peace agreement with the leader of Incas which is 14milioniar population in peru .


At the returning press conference,he said that many presidents and leaders of the world had already known the nonofficial signing of a peace agreement in philippines' mindanao and first proposed the meeting to him.

In addition,he explained they consented not to repeat the faluse history causing the dispute and then they signed the peace agreement by one mind.

Last April,1,2014. ICD international conference in Rome assembly ,Italy
he was a second proposer and introduced the process of the mindanao's nonofficial peace agreement and the meaning of world peace youth walk .

he appealed to participate in transmiting to  the next generation the peace world without the war.

That day,he also proposed the roles of all social standings for the world peace to presidents of  various countries,women,youth, media etc.



 ▶The president must insert the provisions about the end of the war in international law in order to the world peace.


▶women must take part in joining International Women's Peace Group in order to protect their offspring.


▶Youth must recognize to be the first victim of the war and join the International Peace Youth Group.

At the roman parliament ICD international conference, He appealed "we must leave the world without the war as a heritage to the descendant " and signed the peace agreement with ex- president and the incumbent president of 10 countries in centural and south america , the eastern europe.

Lee man hee representative was a korean war veteran as the age of 84. He went round the earth 9times through last 3years. he ask various countries presidents to insert the provision the end of the war in international law for the world peace. now the peace of the korean peninsula is not perfect but incomplete. In north korea they have been living without receiving guarantees of the minimum rights. we must hope to be settled peace in our country for the descendant's future. In that sense,i would like many other people to be interested in the sign of a peace agreement.

even if the word 'peace' can make you feel abstract and distant, in this regard that it has affected all of us who is living in this country, we must support and encourage the one who act a peace movement like mr.lee.

anyway like the signing of a peace assignment in philippine, i would like to be relieved tension of korea by continuing a peace movement in korea .

Who has insisted peace since president kim dae jung? the one who success a peace movement which even president kim dae jung can not do, i look forward to settling peace with mr.lee by gathering people who have the same heart.

This is the only way and desire of our people without repeating the history of shame 100years ago.

in other words,there are not many people insisting peace in the world.

because of a good thing that acts a peace movement with having big plans ,

i want many civilians to support and encourage it each other.

anyway we look forward to opening the true era of peace in korean peninsula.

but why are there war and conflct in the world?

It has taken more than 60years to be divided south and north korea by war without connecting each other. During that time there have been many other change as a result of it , our generation has been getting insensible about the unification the north and south.

seeing to putting up the placard in the street a signing of a peace agreement mindano island in phillipine,the end of the war for 40years , i just went thoughtless during read it. seeing it while i returned the way again, I thought how we can do that if the war is going to happen in my life time.

of course, just kidding say there is no shelter because of a core war I want south and north korea to be unification peacefully without war.

those who have lived in the painful areas where are suffere from the war want to live eagerly in a peace world but those who have lived in a peace world without the war feel like things away to us.
